Old99Farm Market: Week of May 4th 2020
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week. The weather was very nice and allowed us to get a fair bit of outdoor work finished on the gardens beds. The pastures are greening up, grass is growing and bees are buzzing and birds are nesting: spring is officially here. We’re getting ready to get the outdoor beds planted with more delicious veggies and root crops.
This week we have rhubarb, stir fry blend greens, health kick salad blend, choi sum, shuidong leaf mustard, red kale, green and rainbow chard, beef, stewing hens, rabbits and eggs.
We still have compost available for your flower and vegetable beds at home.
Please remember to place your order BEFORE 7 AM Thursday. If its placed after that time it will not be filled. Thank you!
We look forward to seeing you this weekend. Have a great week folks.
Be well,
Nick and Angela
Champaign, OH: Revolution
You say you want a revolution
Well you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it’s evolution
Well you know
We all want to change the world…
(The Beatles)
Well, market lovelies…we are doing it, each and every week…starting our own local scene, local food revolution.
Last night, I watched as the orders continued to come in, and watched as we shattered our highest record of two weeks ago.
Your market managers are so proud to be your ever humble band leaders in this whole local food revolution, evolving the scene, forevermore…and, our vendors, my gosh, those vendors, you can’t lead a rock star band without the stars, and let me tell you…rock stars, they are.
So, we are open for orders until 10pm, this evening!
How high can we get, today?
Rock on, babes…rock, on…
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Though the Lettuce is dwindling we do still have some. AND we have LOTS of KALE. The Tomato are doing well right now too.
Please let me know if there are any products you want me to try to bring in to sell. I’m going on reconnaissance tomorrow to see what I can get.
I’m cutting back on planting the shoots and Micro greens because it is a waste if they are not selling. Please let me know if you want any of them, it only takes a week or two for most to be ready from planting.

Falls Park Farmers Market: Online Farmers Market Is Now Open!
We’re back for another week of online market and the real deal at the Falls Park!
We have around 18 vendors bringing you items to allow for curbside pickup again this week. Ordering is now open until midnight on Wednesday evening. Please consider placing an online order for the bulk of your needs and then walk through for any items that are not online or you may have missed.
We will once again have pickup from 8-10. Please remember to pick up items as early as possible as there may be some items that are best kept cold. Our vendors are working to provide the best pickup containers possible, but an early pick up is best for all products. Also, the pickup will continue to be in front of the shelter underneath the Farmer’s Market Today sign.
Some Mother’s Day vendor highlights this week include:
Alissa’s Flower Farm – Get your flower arrangements for Mom!
Prairie Cocoa and Confections – Mother’s Day themed goodies!
Plus all the items your mom might like from soaps and veggies, to plants baked goods and meat!
Delivery will be available again this week for $10.
