Independence,VA:  Market is OPEN for Nov. 6th pickup!

Good evening!

Pesticide-free Christmas trees and wreaths are now available to pre-order! All proceeds from these sales go directly to the Market!

Be sure to check out Grayson Landcare’s 2020 Silent Auction, happening now!

Baywood Forest products will be unavailable the week of November 13th, if you are in need of mushrooms, mushroom extracts and/or bagels, be sure to order this week!

Upcoming Schedule Changes and Announcements:

Starting November, 13th, we’ll be changing our Market pickup time to 3-6 pm. (While we do run year-round, things tend to slow down a bit at this time of year and we have decided to condense pickup times as a means of reducing operating costs).

On Thanksgiving week, we’ll have a Wednesday, November 25th pickup from 3-6 pm instead of a Friday pickup.

In December, we’ll have a Market pickup on Wednesday, December 23rd, as opposed to Friday, December 25th.

We are tentatively planning two outdoor Holiday Markets! We hope to be in Town Park Friday, November 27th and Saturday, December 5th with our craft vendors and pre-ordered pesticide-free Christmas trees and wreaths! Stay tuned for details.

Thanks again and happy shopping!

Martin's Farmstand:  Free lettuce this weekend at Martins Farmstand

There was lots of lovely lettuce in the fields which we harvested yesterday ahead of the freeze. Now it needs you to enjoy it. We are offering this lettuce free at the stand during the next few days as supply lasts. We also harvested lots of other greens and herbs. The coolers are packed full with lots of good food. Cauliflower, big cabbage, leeks, brussel sprouts, potatoes, carrots, daikon radish, beets, onions, turnips, winter squash of all kinds and sizes, apples-even tomatoes- this wonderful produce stand has some really good eating in it. This is the time to think about stocking up on your winter storage of all kinds of root crops including sweet potatoes grown her on the farm. Ask how to best store your produce for longer term storage as we have experience. Some crops like cold and damp, some cool and dry and some warm and dry. Daniel

Champaign, OH:  Laughter In The Rain

Oh, how I love the rainy days and the happy way I feel inside…
(Neil Sedaka)

Go ahead…cue up 1975 bubblegum pop, and let the memories of bad school dances, awkward crushes, and feathered hair all come rushing back.

I happened to start singing this song, in my head, the entire market pick up, tonight. It was a rain soaked, cold event, this evening, but just seeing all of your smiling faces, and quick chit chats just made it more like laughter in the rain!

And…thank you, so very, very much for being this awesome, lovely little local market community. Thank you for sweet texts, thank you for bringing my pieces of pie from Loretta’s, thank you for giving me cd’s of music, and all of the other nice things that you all do for me, but mainly, I just love the love.

I am opening the market up, again, as I warm up with a glass of wine…

So many new items added to the market just when everything seems to be changing, again, along with the shift of the seasons. This means that we are here for you, more than ever, making sure you take home the love, each and every week…

Go ahead…turn up that bubblegum pop music while it rains, outside…

Cheers!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Champaign, OH:  Rainy Days and Thursdays

Almost a song implant, just the wrong day…

But, don’t let the rain get you down, because it’s market pick up day, and that’s always a happy day!!

Thank you, so very much, for making this another stellar week of sales!!! The market, it’s vendors, it’s managers all love you for it!!

There are a lot of you, for pick up, and the weather is dicey. There WILL be time slots, tonight, because it’s going to take a bit longer for me to be inside, and outside, delivering to your cars because of the rain. And, I don’t want you all to have to sit in a traffic jam in the rain.

So….A-M 4PM-5PM
N-W 5PM-6PM

If you are going to be a Friday pick up, please let me know, if you have not already done so, or if you are not a regular Friday pick up!

If it is raining hard, I may be delivering out of the front door of the retail shop. Thank you, so very much, for your patience!!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

  • Please display the name(s) for your order(s) on a windshield placard to assist in quick and safe check-in.

EBT CUSTOMERS.
Right now we can scan EBT/SNAP cards only at the Statesboro pickup location. So, if you have ordered online with the intent to pay with your EBT card, you’ll need to come to the Statesboro Drive Through at the Convention and Visitors Bureau between 3:30 and 6:30. Email or text us in advance so we can calculate your bonus dollars and the amount to be charged to your card.
