The Cumming Harvest - Closed: November is finally here!
Good morning everyone,
Happy November.
We apologize for the delay in the email, our system was glitching with sending the email. But the market is up and running!
Just a few announcements regarding the holidays.
We will be closed the following Saturdays:
November 28th for Thanksgiving week.
December 26th for Christmas week.
January 2nd for New Years week.
So if you want items for thanksgiving buy them the week of November 18th through 19th and pick up on Saturday the 21st.
If there are any questions regarding the holiday schedule please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Don’t forget to pick up your items the week you order them, to avoid a five dollar holding fee. This fee will be applied 2 weeks in a row, and if you do not pick up on the second week we will donate the items to Meals By Grace.
And remember the market hours are from 10 AM until 12 noon sharp.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Miami County Locally Grown: We're OPEN!
Delighted to be Back!!
Thanks to Karen and Jessica at Pop-up in Troy for offering us a temporary albeit ultra classy home! They were gracious enough to let us use their gorgeous space so we could get orders to the customers who had already shopped before we were informed we couldn’t use First Place for Market Pickup Oct 20th!!
We’re excited tonight to welcome Dutch Roost Farm back to the Market with her beloved Grandma Bensman’s Pie Pumpkins!!! I just cooked a few of these beauties down for pie, custard, butter, and bread – I have to tell you it is the sweetest, and orange-est pumpkin I have ever seen!! Yum and Wow!!
Thanks for your patience and support during our unexpected hiatus – I loved the extra time with my family, but I missed you, and I’ll hope to see you Tuesday!
Happy Election Night :-)

Market News
Thank you for your patience with our more specific estimated times last week! We have a much better idea of what works and doesn’t work, and we expect to be much more correct this week. This is a process, and we appreciate your understanding!
Please remember as you order that per the POA’s instructions, we cannot leave your food unattended. If you need us to deliver to your neighbor or slip your order inside your house, please be sure to tell us in the comments so we can make sure your order gets to you safely!
If you have other suggestion about how we can continue to make deliveries without being able to leave products unattended, we’d love to hear them. We’re still developing the best ways to get your orders to you, and we welcome any of your ideas.
As always, if you enjoy being a member of Big Canoe Harvest, tell your friends! The more the market grows, the more additional vendors and products we’ll be able to include. As always, your feedback help shapes the market. Let us know what you think about the Big Canoe Harvest products.
Have a wonderful week, and we’ll see you Saturday!
Whitney and Eddy
We thank you for your interest and support of our efforts to bring you the healthiest, the freshest and the most delicious locally-produced foods possible!
