Statesboro Market2Go: Have you ordered yet? Help keep the market going!
We’re grateful for the tremendous response of the Market2Go customers over these long months of the pandemic. January order levels have fallen below break-even for our operation, so we need to know what our community needs from the market and what you can support.
If you want to help keep the market going, here’s what you can do.
- Order regularly from the market, so we can return to “break-even” levels of sales.
- Encourage your friends and family to place orders.
- As often as possible, while you’re on the market site, go to the “Market Contributions” category and donate what you can to help sustain the market.
- Share any ideas you have about how we can improve our outreach to customers.
Many of you are helping already. Our heartfelt thanks to all our loyal customers for your orders and your generous contributions.

Good morning!
January came and went so quickly. It’s time to begin thinking about Valentine’s Day gifts. Fill your foodie’s heart and stomach with gifts from local farmers and vendors. Add a gift certificate from the farmers market to a basket filled with other foodie favorites for a great gift. Aprons, crafts, and personal care items also make great gifts
Opossum Hollow Farms is picking up beef this morning and produce has not yet been updated. Please check back this afternoon for produce.
Thank you for shopping the farmers market! See you Saturday!
Champaign, OH: Cold Rain And Snow
You guys…you have been blowing up my email with your answers to this week’s Cosmic trivia!!! And, I have been loving your answers, and singing all of your song choices while I have been getting the Monday morning list of things ready, that I need to accomplish!
We have our two winners!!!
My Grateful Dead weather related song titles choices were just two of many of their weather related titles.
Let me tell you, I have spent years, first at Dead shows, then at Dark Star Orchestra shows, and Dead and Company shows, in ALL kinds of weather!! Dead Heads have danced in cold, rain, snow, sleet, dodged lightening, and ran for our safety to tents. We’ve watched stages get washed out from rains. We’ve had total campsites demolished with hurricane/tornado type weather. We’ve all helped out our fellow camp neighbors in the aftermath of said storms. We’ve danced in rainfall with the Dead playing on with all of their weather related music. We’ve worn parkas in May, we’ve worn sundresses in December. But, the important thing, the underlying lesson that we all have taken with us, is that weather comes, and it goes, but love gets us all through, and you may as well keep on dancing…
So, with all that…
My first winner of the morning was Rachel Massey with her answer…Weather Report Suite!!!! She was a new customer, last week, and I am so excited to hear her kind words about the market!
My second winner has been with the market since it’s inception, 10 years ago…the other song I was looking for was, of course…Cold Rain and Snow! Mary Jo Price won that song!!
So…we have the trivia winners!!
And, I have added new selections of Cosmic breads and focaccia!!
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market: February!
Good Morning!
February is here and we are a little closer to spring. Any guesses on what the groundhog will say tomorrow?
This week we have Hungarian Mushroom and Turmeric Vegetable Soups, and Oatmeal Fig Bars that are new. Springwood Cashmere Farm added her lotions to the market lineup. They are all natural and you have your choice of scents.
Veggies are slow in the garden. We are letting the greens take a break for a couple weeks so they have a chance to grow in a bit more. Then I will harvest and turn those beds over with amendments to prepare for spring. The rest of the beds got a few loads of manure and will be ready for early sown spring veggies.
Remember to place your orders by Wednesday evening for Saturday pick up. Prior pickup may be arranged as well during winter months.
Thank you for shopping with us!

Champaign, OH: Cosmic Monday Trivia!
Get excited!!
While you are busy with your ordering, today, and remember…the market closes tomorrow morning, at 8am, for weekly orders…I am giving you the next trivia mission!!
This week, I am going to award TWO winners!! And, with this weather, we could all use a little Cosmic sunshine…
Related to the weather, I am looking for two weather specific Grateful Dead songs! The first two people to give me the song/songs I am looking for, will be this week’s winners!
1. Only give me one song with your answer!
2. You must be an ordering market customer!
3. You can pick soup or a bread product for your trivia prize!
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
