Statesboro Market2Go: Market Help Needed
Can you help at the Market2Go?
We’ll be short on staffing for our Statesboro drive-through pickups for the next few weeks, during GS exam week and class break. We could use four or five volunteers to help assemble orders and take them out to vehicles during the Statesboro drive through on any of these three Thursdays:
- (THIS WEEK) Thursday, May 6, 4:00 – 6:00
- Thursday, May 13, 4:00 – 6:00
- Thursday, May 20, 4:00 – 6:00
If you can help for any portion of one of these “shifts”, please text Relinda at 912.481.2263 with your name and the time(s) you are available to help.
Old99Farm Market: Week.of 2 May 2021
Greetings everyone!
We hope everyone had a great weekend and your were able to enjoy some of our pastured beef.
We have plenty of beef available with select cuts like bevette, flat iron steak, chuck eye steak, top sirloin, sirloin cap and many more!
Plenty of vegetables to choose from as well like green frilly kale, red kale, spinach, green Swiss chard, magenta Swiss chard and collard greens to name a few. Also available this week, Nick has been foraging around the forest and the farm and has found some beautiful nettle in its spring prime ready to be picked. If you enjoy nettle teas or relaxing in a bath with wild foraged herbs we suggest you try it!
Please remember to place your order before 7am Thursdays. Orders placed after this time may not be processed. Market pickup times are 4pm to 6pm Thursday and Friday.
Thank you everyone who came last week, we look forward to seeing you all again this week.
Be well,
