Heritage Farm :  Turkey Update...Please read

Just wanted to give you all an update and let you know the turkeys are done and being picked up in the morning.The average bird size is 22#’s however that includes about 3 pounds of neck and giblets with the bird. We have a few smaller and a few larger but most hit right at that 22# weight. They are absolutely gorgeous!!

RAF Buying Clubs :  When is the Next Buying Club?

Thanksgiving is just around the corner!

Due to the Holiday next week, we will be postponing our Buying Club dropoffs until the following Wednesday, December 4th.

HOWEVER, we wanted to make you aware of two opportunities to get our wonderful local products into your hands next week:

2) Great Day Gardens is taking Thanksgiving reservations for their delicious wood fired oven baked goods! Foothills Market:  Market Reminder

Foothills Market closes at 5 pm today, and will be reopen after Thanksgiving!
If there is something that you’ll need for the following week, now is the time to get it. We still have delicious ham steak, pork shops, legs of lamb, and a variety of meats available in addition to some fresh vegetables (salad mix, spinach, and radishes). Visit the market now to place your order and pick it up tomorrow from 5 to 5:30 p.m at the Food for Thought garden.

Heritage Farm :  Turkey Delivery Schedule.....Please read

The turkeys are being processed now and will be returning to the farm on 11/22. We will be bringing them to the Saturday drop off locations this Saturday 11/23. We will be at Peachtree Road from 9-12, Roswell at about 12:30 and Sandy Springs at about 1:15 pm. Home delivery, restraunt and Thursday drop off locations will be delivered Monday 11/25. If you have a home delivery or drop site order please make sure someone is home to receive turkey order and settle any balances due. If you are an online customer we can bill your online account for any remaining balances. Please e-mail us at the below address for any questions or clarifications.
Home delivery schedule is full for 11/25.

Remember to tell me when you want to pick up! (and if I don’t reply to confirm within a day, bump my e-mail or text me 407-342-8515. Though I have cleaned up my e-mail so hopefully I won’t have a problem again.)

Whew, what a night! Thanks to all the customers and vendors who came out and made our Fall Farmer’s Market such a successful, fun time! I love seeing everyone set up, and meeting all the new faces :-).

The Virtual Market is open for orders until 8pm Sunday!

And we’ll again be set up on December 10th for the Holiday Farmer’s Market!!

Just a heads up… We will NOT be closed this year for Thanksgiving week! We’ll stay open from now until our last Market pickup of the year on December 17th!! And we’ll be Closed for THREE weeks over the holiday season, reopening January 7th in the new year!! Can’t believe it’s time to talk about this :-)
