Hi there! This is just a reminder that Athens Locally Grown will be closed this week to allow us all to celebrate Thanksgiving. If you need a last minute item from our local farmers, Heirloom Cafe on Chase Street will be hosting a mini version of the Athens Farmers Market from 11-2 on Wednesday.

If you’re still looking for inspiration and recipes, of course the internet has no shortage of Thanksgiving suggestions. Here are some of my favorites that I return to every year:

The Dawson Harvest Market Opens at 8 pm!

HI GUYS

Because this week is Thanksgiving week Dawson Harvest will not have its usual Friday Market but instead will have a Tuesday Market so you can pick up additional or overlooked Veggies, Baked Goods, Chicken and Beef.

The Market opens as usual Tonight at 8 pm, but closes Tomorrow Night (Monday) at 9 pm. Customer Pickup will be Tuesday 3 – 6 pm.

Wow, this is a busy week for the Online Market! If you haven’t placed an order yet, or you want to make sure you have everything you need for Thursday, be sure to get it done before the Market closes tomorrow night at 8 pm.

Please remember to order your pesticide-free tree or wreath! This is the last week they will be available to order, pickup starts this Friday at the Holiday Market in Town Park from 11-2. This is a fundraiser for the Farmers Market and we really do appreciate the support.
