Statesboro Market2Go: What's for Dinner?
Wondering how to incorporate Market2Go’s wide array of local meats, veggies, mushrooms, and herbs into your weekly dinners? Give this list a glance to see some of our favorite seasonal combos!
- Creamy Salmon Linguine uses wild-caught Alaskan salmon, nutrient packed broccoli, and minced fresh basil.
- Pan-Fried Lamb Chops With Minted Pea Salad is an easy way to prepare and enjoy lamb, with both halves of the recipe taking only a few minutes of actual cooking each.
- Turkey, Turnip and Potato Casserole is a savory, cheesy blend of the aforementioned vegetables, plus onions, garlic, carrots, and thyme.
- Mushroom and Sweet Potato Potpies are an elegant vegan recipe that combines the rich flavors of fresh shiitake mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and rosemary then adds the tang of aged balsamic vinegar!
Mill Creek Farms has just added more lamb – be sure to check it out, as well as our local milk, meat, eggs, vegetables and more!

Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market: Spring Has Sprung!
Are you loving this warm weather?!!! Me too – and so are the plants! Everything is exploding!
We have my daughter’s baby shower this weekend (which I will cater) so this week is light on the items from the kitchen.
I am also hoping the broccolini and lettuces will keep a little longer before bolting too much. The warm weather has already made some of them bloom.
Lots going on here at the farm. Our greenhouse is up and hoping it makes it through this week’s storms! Inside there’s lots of seed trays loaded with this summer’s crops. The garden beds are still being amended as well as new ones for the flower beds going in.
Have a great week!

Ordering window is Monday Afternoon through Thursday Morning and pick up will be Friday-Sunday by appointment until we expand more, Please indicate when you would like to pick up when you place your order.
Remember to tell me when you want to pick up! (and if I don’t reply to confirm within a day, bump my e-mail or text me 407-342-8515. Though I have cleaned up my e-mail so hopefully I won’t Miss Anyone.)

Champaign, OH: And It Stoned Me
Oh, the water
Oh, the water
Oh, the water
Hope it don’t rain all day…
(Van Morrison)
Welcome to your rainy day Monday, lovely little market customers! After a super warm weekend, I guess the rains can dampen one day, so it may as well be on a Monday!
I hope you all have had a lovely weekend, enjoying the milder temperatures! I went to a concert, in Columbus, Friday night, and it was the perfect weather for walking the distance from the hotel to the venue! I love an early spring kick off!
And, speaking of a kick off…have you kicked off your orders, onto the market, yet? This is your Monday reminder that you have until tomorrow morning, at 8am, to get your weekly dose of fun all ordered!!
Have a lovely day…
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
