Growers News:
Quarter Spring Farm:
WE hope your summer is going great so far. We have our usual selection of goat’s milk soaps, shampoos, and lotions available. All of them are all natural, hand made, and great for your skin. We also have a full selection of our pastured chicken cuts on the market. Pasture raised chicken is better for you, better for the planet, and, most importantly, tastier than conventionally raised poultry. Try some for yourself to taste the difference*
Singing Bee Honey Farm:
The wait is over! The 2022 honey harvest is bottled and ready for you! The pure, raw, unfiltered honey is foraged and harvested right here in Cannon Co, TN. This year’s harvest is a lovely amber color with a rich, yet smooth, flavor that is perfect for enjoying straight from a spoon, but can also be added to recipes and teas. Several sizes are available to meet your needs.
Also this week, the garlic bulbs have been harvested and cured, and are ready for your kitchen. This garlic enhances recipes without being overpowering. They store really well in a cool, so are ready for you when your recipe calls for fresh garlic.
Bean Man:
Will return next week.
Sow’s Ear Piggery:

Thank you so much for your constant support over the years. We appreciate you, our customers. Daphne

GROWER & MARKET NOTES
For several years now M@D has taken a breather at the end of summer. The biggest reason for this remains the inavailability of fresh local produce. Okra is about the only thing that loves August and September weather! The break has provided a great time for our vendors to vacation, regroup and plan. Not everyone farms plants however and we will continue to offer meats, eggs, honey, baked goods, etc. every other week, at least that’s the plan! I suspect Grier Acres will continue to offer okra too!
We thank you for your interest and support of our efforts to bring you the healthiest, the freshest and the most delicious locally-produced foods possible!
