Champaign, OH: Saturday Announcement-Old Souls Farm
Good morning, lovely little market customers! Before I run out the door to create and cater an event, today, I wanted to come here with a bit of sad news…
This will be the last week that you will be able to order Old Souls products…pause for crying, because that is what I did when the broke the news to me, right after the holiday break…
Old Souls is shifting gears, going in a different direction with their lettuce, and pulling out of the market, and their other retail outlets like Whole Foods, Dorothy Lane Market, and others down in the south part of the state. They will also cease growing of all lettuces except for their Spring Mix, but their growning, and their focus is only going to be for one client up in the Cleaveland area.
I have reached out to them, and am waiting on an answer, soon, to see if the market can purchase set amounts, each week, with one of the market managers, running out to pick it up, just so we can still have a bit of their product. Fingers crossed.
And, my bright side has to remember that before them, the market had to operate on seasonal lettuce growers, but they have just been such a cool partnership, for six year…and, we will miss them.
So, order up!! Get your greens, your lettuce, your basil…and lets send them off with a whole lot of local love…and tears…lol
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!
PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m.
If you do not get an email ORDER CONFIRMATION right after you order then your order is NOT complete. Log back in and your order might still be there waiting for you to check out! If you have any trouble or questions at all, we are here to help; simply reply to this email.
COVID19: Thanks for recognizing we can all do our part in operating in the safest way possible. Be on the lookout for the order reminder email with any changes to pickup or ways you can help minimize risk for our volunteers and each other. Thanks for your support!*
