Miami County Locally Grown: Sweet Jalapeno Mustard is back!!
Sweet Jalapeno is THE favorite Mustard from Bad Seed Mustard Company,
and we are so glad to have it back on the Market!
Sam and Emma Powell of St Paris, better known as Bad Seed Mustard Company, will be making the trip to Ohio State where they use a commercial kitchen to create and process their incredible Mustards – talk about dedication!! And it all started with Grandma’s famous recipe (which you can still enjoy if you can handle the sweet heat of the Sweet Habanero Mustard!!)

To Shop: Independence Farmers Market.
Laura Wright, of Heaven on Earth Farm, has asked me to let you all know that most of her chickens were taken out by dogs this past week. She really appreciates all of her customers and hopes to be back up and running next Spring. We’re so sorry for your losses, Laura! That being said, she does have five survivors that she would like to re-home. These hens are available for purchase and are still laying daily. Please contact Laura if you are interested, [email protected].
Keep in mind that our Online Market Open House will be happening on November 14th here at the Grayson Landcare office from 4-6 pm. We’ll have several vendors set up with samples and products to purchase. Rumor has it, we may even have ice cream so don’t miss out on this fun day!
Thank you for supporting the Independence Farmers Market!

Good morning!
This is just a friendly reminder to place your order online this evening. This reminder is going out very late, so I’ll leave ordering open till about midnight tonight. Please don’t forget to order! But if you do forget, give me (Linda) a call in the morning. Chances are I’ll be able to get hold of the farmers and place a late order for you.
Remember to hit that last “submit” button. I really dislike disappointing a customer who comes to market, only to find no order in their name because they didn’t hit the last button. When your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If for any reason you fail to receive this confirmation, please contact Linda as soon as you realize it’s missing.
Also please go to our Facebook page & like, comment, and share this week’s post. Facebook isn’t allowing me to post on multiple sites, or post multiple photos. So please help us spread the word. Surveys indicate that word of mouth is the most effective form of advertisement. Please help us advertise our fantastic growing market!
See you on Thursday!
Blessings,
Michael & Linda
