Also, Rosemary Hill has the windowsill herb gardens available again. These make lovely gifts.

Champaign, OH: It's Getting Spooky!
Good morning!! And, look at this…we are at the end of October with just two days before the town’s trick or treat, and Halloween!!
We realize that this week’s market pick up will be happening on trick or treat night, but you can always order, and groove in, right at opening, grab your orders from us, and be home, just in time to dress everyone in costume, and hit the streets…
Our market will close, tomorrow morning, at 6am, so don’t make it a ghoulish week, out there, by neglecting to order…
XOXO,

The Wednesday Market: Change in Market Hours and a Change in Our Business Plan
Hi Wednesday Market fans!
We have a couple of Wednesday Market announcements: First, Starting with the November 6th Market, we will be opening earlier and closing earlier due to issues with darkness and travel for the Market Volunteers caused by the end of Daylight Savings Time for the winter. We will open at 2;00 p.m. for pick-up and close at 4;00 p.m. Being alone in the building after dark and driving in the dark are safety issues for the volunteers. We hope that this does not inconvenience any customers. If you find that you are not able to pick up your order between 2;00pm and 4:00 pm on Wednesdays please let us know. (Our cell phone numbers are listed below) We can discuss alternate pick up methods that will fit your needs. The second announcement concerns a change in our business plan. So many of you want to see more locally grown vegetables. Believe it, we do too! However we have had quite a bit of difficulty finding farmers and even large gardeners that are not selling most of their farms production at Farmer’s Markets in Peachtree City, Sun City, Atlanta, etc. where the population and the demand is much higher. I can’t blame them, it’s their livelihood at stake! But a Market thrives on variety. So, we have expanded the borders of our business plan to include ALL Georgia Grown fruits and vegetables not just the Pike County area. Check out our new vendors and see what is offered. Last week was a big hit! Join us! And thanks for being a Wednesday Market customer. The Wednesday Market Volunteers

Market News
Hello!
There are a few heads of broccoli and burrata cheese available.
The Market will remain open until Tuesday evening for you to place an order for this week.
Here is some information on how Fresh Harvest works.
*Orders can be placed without receiving the Sunday email. I try to open the Market between 7 and 8pm on Sunday. Sometimes I run a little late. Just go to the website: http://freshharvest.locallygrown.net/welcome to see if the Market is open.
*If you see an item as Sold Out, write in the Comment section at check out that you would like that item if more becomes available. We’ll try our best to add it to your order.
*PayPal payments have to be manually added to your account. There will be a delay to crediting your account due to me needing to take time to do the bookkeeping. I also have to go to each account with cash or check payments. These are sometimes delayed by procrastination or being busy. You can still place an order even though it may cause your account to be “overdrawn”. There is no penalty for going into the minus column. Sometimes I’m a little slow in getting to the bank to make deposits, but it eventually happens.
• If you recruit a new customer to Fresh Harvest and they open an account with a $50 deposit, we will credit your account $10 for each new customer who signs up. They will need to tell me your name, so that I can credit your account. Word of mouth has been our best advertising. Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated.
• Every week, we leave orders at the church for customers who cannot arrive at Trinity before 6pm. This has worked well for those who have difficulty with the 4-6pm window. Please let me know if you need me to leave your order at the church.
• The bag that you receive each week is to be brought back with your next order. We have been negligent in telling new customers how this works. Don’t feel bad if you return multiple bags, it happens all the time.
• We’re into reusing and recycling. Our clean egg cartons, honey jars, paper and plastic bags, berry containers are some of the items that we can reuse. If we can’t reuse the returned items, we’ll recycle them.
• We do guarantee everything that we sell. If you ever have a problem, please let us know and we will credit your account.
• If there are other products or growers that you think should be a part of Fresh Harvest, please let me know.
Thanks for your support, and I will see you on Wednesday!
If you need to text me, my number is 615-838-0428.

Berea Gardens: We're Back!
Hi Everybody,
Our online market is back up and running for what promises to be a great Fall season. The crops are fabulous and we will be adding Cauliflower and Brussels Sprouts soon. Our pick-up hours remain the same; from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesdays. The last Farmer’s Market at the park is on November 20, but we will be keeping this market open until well after Christmas. Hope to see you soon.
Blessings,
Bob
