Siloam Springs, AR: Reminder: Market Closed This week - Happy Thanksgiving!
The Online Market will be closed this week to allow our staff, farmers, and vendors to observe Thanksgiving with their family.
We know it’s been a difficult and odd year for everyone. As we reflect on what we are thankful for our customers definitely hit the top of the list. Thank you so much for shopping and buying local food and for supporting our downtown businesses by purchasing gift cards.
As you are shopping for gifts this holiday season remember you can add gift cards to your market order. Food makes a great gift as well.
Saturday, November 28th is Small Business Saturday. We are partnering with the Chamber of Commerce to host a giveaway for a $50 American Express Gift Card. Please support ALL small businesses in Siloam when you shop.
On behalf of the farmers, vendors, and Main Street staff we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market: Last Call for Thanksgiving Orders!!
We welcome a new farm added to the market this week that sells her own production of nut syrups and more!
Dalla Terra Farm is 5 acre homestead with hickory trees, apple trees, blueberry bushes, fig trees, chanterelle mushrooms and seasonal vegetables. The name, Dalla Terra means ’From the Land’ in Italian. We are proud to provide organic products free from chemicals and pesticides. We are continually learning about the property and what it has to offer. We produce small batches of tasty items. Right now, that includes Ketchup, BBQ sauce and Mockernut Hickory Syrup.
Get her syrup and pepper jelly listed right now, and a great selection of other items from our farm and the rest of the Lathemtown Market. We have added some immune boosting items just in time for cold and flu fighting!
Order by this evening for pick up Wednesday at the farm stand.
We thank you for shopping local and supporting farmers and artisans who believe in producing naturally.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Athens Locally Grown: ALG Reminder: We are closed this week!
Hi there! This is just a reminder that Athens Locally Grown will be closed this week to allow us all to celebrate Thanksgiving. If you need a last minute item from our local farmers, Heirloom Cafe on Chase Street will be hosting a mini version of the Athens Farmers Market from 11-2 on Wednesday.
If you’re still looking for inspiration and recipes, of course the internet has no shortage of Thanksgiving suggestions. Here are some of my favorites that I return to every year:
- Thanksgiving Recipes from The Splendid Table
- Rachel Ray’s Farmers Market Thanksgiving
- Roasted root vegetable pot pie
- A soup-to-nuts plan for a homegrown holiday meal
I am very thankful for all the food options available to us provided by members of our community who care about the health of both the people eating the food they provide and the land from which it came from. And I find it very fitting that I get to express these thanks via a meal made from that very same food.
Thanks also to you, and happy Thanksgiving! We’ll see you in two weeks.

Russellville Community Market: The Market Closes at 10 Tonight!

To ensure your order is placed, make sure you click the “Place My Order” button once you have completed your shopping. You will receive a confirmation email.
Orders will be ready for pick-up from 4PM – 8:00PM this Tuesday outside the Downtown Russellville Train Depot. Your order will be brought to your car in full-service fashion!

Hey, ya’ll! We had special visitors from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and the University of Arkansas this past Tuesday. In response to the pandemic, RCM implemented a few adaptations back in mid-March to help keep our farmers and customers as safe as possible. We have always been an online market since we were founded ten years ago, so we were already in a prime position to tackle these public health, “social-distancing” challenges. We have grown tremendously this year, and our market model (i.e., ordering online, customers staying in their cars during pick-up) may be used to help train other farmers’ markets in the state. How about that, Russellville? We want to say THANK YOU to all of our wonderful customers!! You make the magic happen downtown every Tuesday at our Old Train Depot, and a few of our agriculture leaders in the state have noticed.
Our display table in the photo above features a Cornucopia arrangement created by Michael’s Garden, a Handwoven Rug from Houston Family Farm and Fiber, and Fruit Jams made by Meadowlark Valley. This week, we have Fresh Apples for sale, Baby Turnips, Hakurei Turnips, Pumpkin Butter, Tat Soi, Kale, Sweet Potatoes, Gift Baskets and Gift Boxes, Hand-Poured Candles, Holiday Fruit Cakes, and more!
Check back frequently as our farmers regularly update what they have available.

Foothills Market: Change of Plans - Unexpectedly
We found out over the weekend that one of our workers from the market tested positive for Covid last week, so to be extra cautious we’ve decided to suspend the market for this coming week.
However, we know some of you may have been counting on something from the market for your Thanksgiving plans. What we’re going to do is have each grower have an updated listing on the market, and you can contact the individual grower if you want to place an order. Here is contact information for our active growers:
Happy Horseshoe Farm – [email protected]
Rural Route Farm – [email protected]
Sheepy Hollow Farm – [email protected]
Spicer Farms & Kimberly’s Pantry – [email protected]
Sycamore Grove Farm – [email protected]
You will need to contact the grower by Wednesday morning at the latest to make arrangements for pickup or delivery. We will NOT have market pickup at the Chamber of Commerce building this week.
We hope to be back to our regular schedule the next week, since that will have been 14 days since the original contact, the required time for quarantine. Our biggest concern is everyone’s health, so we appreciate your patience in this situation.
Happy Thanksgiving, and we will see you soon!
Berea Gardens: Market Open
Hello Friends,
Our final regular market of the 2020 season will be here on Wednesday. I want to take a moment and thank all of you that have so faithfully supported us this year. We have truly been blessed by your patronage.
We still have a number of things growing and will be announcing some sporadic markets to be held in the coming months. These markets will be for those of you that order online only and distribution will be at our same 4 to 6 PM Wednesday time slot. You will get an email from me on Sunday, just as during the regular season, when we have product available for you.
This week we have a special on our Butternut Squash. We still have a large quantity left and are offering it at $1.00 per pound. These can store for months, so now is a good time to stock up while the price is so low.
In spite of an arduous year, we still have so very much to be thankfull for and our prayer is that each of you have a warm and loving holiday to reflect upon all of your blessings.
Bob & Lynnita
