The Cumming Harvest - Closed:  Big announcement, please read!

Good morning everyone,

We hope everyone is having an amazing week. We have some big news to share with everyone. The Cumming Harvest is moving locations!
We are planning to move to Keith Bridge Rd. The date of the move is yet to be determined. the new location will provide better access to the community and if you can’t pick up on Saturday morning you will be able to pick up during the week. The space will also support growers in the ability to provide extra product for customers to purchase during the week. FM Aquaponics will provide fresh produce in the Keith Bridge market location all week in addition to our farm direct sales. We will send you all a one week notice of the facility change with detailed instructions on how to find the market the week of the move We will also use social media channels to promote the move.

As stated this week will not be affected, as the new building is not yet ready. Please continue to come to our site on Pilgrim Mill until further notice. Also as of now picking up during the week at the site at Pilgrim mill is not available. So please remember to come Saturday morning. If there are any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to the market manager.

As a reminder the market is open from Wednesday through Thursday at 8pm for orders. All orders must be picked up on Saturday from 10am until 12pm noon.

Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market:  Weblog Entry

Are you enjoying this warm weather? Me too!! We are busy here on the farm trying to get ahead of the growth explosion. While there is a lot going on outside, inside we have seeds sprouting and the incubator has baby chicks hatching soon!
Creekview’s FFA had a strawberry sale which came in today. There will be fresh jam available and a strawberry vanilla bread made from our own homemade vanilla that has been extracting since last year.
This weekend should be sunny so the farmstand will be open as well.

Thank you for supporting from our market!

Old99Farm Market:  Week of 1 March 2021

Good day local farm supporters!
March is here and that means spring is right around the corner and another growing season is on our doorstep.
This week we have green kale and swiss chard along with a delicious slag-free spinach that is a specialty with chefs. Also available is collard greens, beet tops, carrots, parsley, eggs, beef, pork and chicken and much more. Coming to mind today as I write this I am thinking of beef bone broth made into a delicious barley soup with carrots and beet tops topped with some fresh chopped parsley. That’s a hearty meal to come home to!
We will have two beeves going in for processing next week so we will be stocked up on all your favourite cuts. We have some really nice pork roasts available that are perfect for a family dinner.
Check out the market for availability of select cuts of meat and featured items like our mild or spicy pork sausages and pork roast!

We look forward to seeing everyone at the farm again this week. Thank you to all who continue to order and support local organic growers!

Be well,

Nick & Angela
