CLG: Opening Bell: PLEASE READ Payment Options!
Hi
Sorry for the late open!
I hope you had a great weekend. There are more and more goodies on our tables each week, so look through all the categories and don’t miss out on the bounty of the season :)
When you check out, please consider adding your credit card to your account so charges can be made automatically after you pick up on Friday (adjustments are made for any extras or shorts). This makes for a speedy check out process, and our life much easier too!
We will still be accepting cash, checks, and cards at the markets. Card transactions at the market will now be charged a 3% convenience charge (same as online) to cover the transaction costs.
Thank you so much for understanding and for your continued support of local growers! Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Just a few reminders:
-email [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering at CLG!
-if you order milk, select W/EXCHANGE if you are bringing a bottle back. Otherwise, select W/DEPOSIT
-tell your friends about CLG!
The market is now OPEN for orders. Click here to start shopping: *https://conway.locallygrown.net/market
Most items are listed by 6 pm Sunday, but check back again before the market closes Tuesday night to see if any other items are ready to be harvested for you! Eat fresh! Eat local! Eat for better health!

GROWER & MARKET NOTES
New & Relisted Products
The following was lifted from our Question & Answer Page. This, of all our questions, may seem like “old hat” to most of us, it is there to help those navigating our site and system for the first time. And we’ve all been there.
Will I have to buy vegetables I don’t want?
While some of our vendors offer traditional CSA boxes, the bulk of our products are listed on an individual basis. This way you get to order what you want, in the quantities that you want, from the farms that you want. The weekly update provides current Market information, grower announcements, new and returning products, and helpful information. We encourage you to browse the Market every week as the products our farmers list constantly changes depending on what is in season and becomes available. You might just find your new favorite food!
AVALON FARMS:
Woo Hoo! Blackberries are ripening now. These are SO good. Big berries with great taste. Will also be offering Frozen Blackberries. They make great additions to smoothies. Use in recipes. Or tasty ice cubes, to keep that glass of wine cold.
MOUNT MORIAH: Wow! Absolutely crazy that we are in the month of June! Just wanted to say a big thank you to all of y’all who support our small businesses! We truly appreciate you! This month is a very special one for us. That reason is because I’m due to have my first baby June 17! We are having a baby boy and just so excited. We are taking it one week at a time with all the markets and plan on keeping with it until baby boy makes his appearance! My husband has been extremely supportive of me continuing my business and has been a big help. We hope y’all have a blessed weekend!
We thank you for your interest and support of our efforts to bring you the healthiest, the freshest and the most delicious locally-produced foods possible!

What a spectacular, gorgeous day! Not too hot, not too cold, bright sun, a bit of a breeze – perfect.
I have to admit that the idea of wandering around in the sweltering heat, waiting in lines, and navigating throngs of people, all while fending off pleas for treats and doodads of all kinds, has never been my cup of tea…but weather like this could tempt even me.
So get out there and enjoy the day at the Strawberry Festival!
And in case you didn’t notice, Farmhouse Bakery is back after a couple weeks’ break. She has an enchanting Strawberry Basil Fry Pie as well as her famous Gelato!

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!
PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m.

Champaign, OH: Pretty In Pink
Pretty in pink, isn’t she?
Pretty in pink, isn’t she?
(Psychedelic Furs)
Good morning, lovelies!
Just a market note to say, Happy Friday, the market is open, there is so much loveliness to order, and also to remind you that asparagus season is fleeting, so make sure you take full advantage on the market orders!!
Pretty In Pink is the song rambling around in my head, this morning for a few reasons. First, last evening, as I do each evening, I was watering all of my plants, planters, ferns, and enjoying a glass of wine on my back deck. I sat down, for a moment, glanced up at the sky, and saw the most brilliant hot pink sunset smashed against the bright blue sky. So amazing.
I went, inside, where I had just arranged a cobalt blue vase full of the LOVELIEST pink peonies that Flourish has on the market, and once again, a pretty in pink moment! Another reminder that they have had the most beautiful peonies on the market, for ordering, but like asparagus, the season doesn’t last long, so order these beauties!
Finally, this song…a staple from my 80s club days, and, also, a group of my pals are all headed off to see the Psychedelic Furs and X, in July! Hello, club days!!
Have a lovely pink filled days, and take a bit of time to order your own loveliness from the market!
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
