At this week’s market we are having an open house! Come meet some of our fantastic vendors, sample products and enjoy some holiday fellowship from 4-7 at the depot! What better way to finish off that Christmas shopping list and get in the holiday spirit! Make sure to get your market orders in, as well. Champaign, OH:  New Vendor Introduction

So, in the past couple of weeks, I have chatted with Old Souls Farm, and then I also have a couple out of Springfield, coming on the market, both with different varieties of microgreens!!

Old Souls will announce, after the first of the year, when their microgreens will be ready…

And, I am excited that we have, Next Fresh Thing, LLC joining us, now!! They have listed some of their microgreens, for this week, with more to come after the new year!

Here is an intro from them, and I am so excited to welcome them to the market family!!

A note from LaQuan and Krista:

Hello we are Next Fresh Thing LLC.

We wanted to introduce the Next Fresh Thing, MICROGREENS!!!

They are an alternative healthy source for natural vitamins, nutrients, protein, and many other health benefits which we grow locally all year.

LaQuan and Krista are here to fill a gap that is needed in our local community. We both grew up farming/gardening so together our individual skill sets work together to create, maintain, and grow Next Fresh Thing.

Hey, now! Thank you, so much, for another great market!!

And, can you even believe that we are down to just one more market of the year?? Where has this time gone?

2022 has been a great one, for me, and hoping the same has gone for each of you. I know that seeing your smiling faces, each week, is always a high point of the year!

So, yes…next Thursday is our last pick up until the market, each manager, the vendors, and my dad, the official market helper, all take a much needed two week break. Well, my dad will be off to his winter months at the beach, and, I will be off to FLA, for a few days, to see my sweet grand babe, Lennon, and gang, down there, but then will return, to get the 2023 Locally Grown Market off to a kickin’ good time!

Also, upon our return, I will be announcing new vendors, AND, a collab that I know you all will love, and want to help, as I give you more information!

So, I will reopen the market for this last holiday market week, but also, we have vendors who are taking off, a week early, and I will list the vendors who have alerted me!

Each of them wants you to know that you mean the world to them, and they look forward to bringing you more of their products in 2023!

Happy Wednesday, Market Friends!

The Online Market is OPEN for the LAST PICK UP OF 2022 now until Monday at 8 PM for Pick Up on Wednesday, December 21.

If you can believe it, we’ve arrived at the end of another year! If you’re still getting in some last minute gift shopping, there are so many great options available on the Online Market! Stocking stuffers like Cajun pecans and Oreo Balls, Christmas Dinner Classics including locally-raised Beef, Lamb and Goose, and even specialty dog treats are all available to order now until Monday night. Get your last orders in now while you can!

Just a reminder there will be no Online Market ordering available the week of December 21-December 27. The Market reopens on December 28 for orders to start 2023 off right. Thanks for shopping Online with us this year!

Foothills Market:  Market Reminder

Foothills Market is open for another hour and a half. Remember that this is the last market until after Christmas. We still have fresh vegetables, including leaf lettuce and salad mix from the aquaponics house.

Looking for a Christmas gift? How about some local honey or sorghum or an assortment of homemade jams? Or maybe you know someone who would appreciate a gift certificate for fresh, local produce throughout the new year. Send us an email with the name of the recipient and a dollar amount, and we will make up a certificate for you to pick up tomorrow.

Fayetteville Farmers' Market:  Apple Alert-Last Week to Order

Hello!

A&A Orchards just let us know that Dec 15 is their last delivery day for 2022. So if you want apples, frozen peaches, cider or vinegar, please order today or before 6am Wed morning.

Also this is the last order and delivery date for Dripping Springs. They will be back in January!

If you have already ordered, don’t worry—we combine all orders and you are only charged once no matter how many times you add items to your order.

Yalaha, FL:  Market Open

The regular ordering window is now through Thursday 8am for Friday-Sunday pickup.

I may still be able to take orders after Thursday Morning but can’t guarantee availability of things as I may have already packed them for the Restaurants.
Ordering window is Monday Afternoon (or when I open it) through Thursday Morning and pick up will be Friday-Sunday by appointment until we expand more, Please indicate when you would like to pick up when you place your order.

Remember to tell me when you want to pick up! (and if I don’t reply to confirm within a day, bump my e-mail or text me 407-342-8515. Though I have cleaned up my e-mail so hopefully I won’t Miss Anyone.)
