Statesboro Market2Go:  Order Before 10pm Tuesday!

Did you know you can buy Georgia grown olive oil on Market2Go? Available from Terra Dolce Farms, their name means “sweet earth”, which is a nod to Georgia’s history of flourishing olive crops! This historical practice is being revived, with these critically acclaimed olives being hand-picked and locally pressed in Lyons, Georgia! Plus, check out their authentic aged-balsamic vinegar as an accompaniment.

Terra Dolce Farms’ Oil is great for Sauteing or Roasting, and their balsamic vinegar is awesome for sauces and salad vinaigrettes!

For more information about Terra Dolce Farms, check out their grower page and website.

Man is the weather awesome or what, last night frogs were chirping which means about 45 days before spring, seems to be about right. It’s an old timer method of telling when to plant. We shall see.

Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market:  This Week at the Market

Are you getting a bit tempted to think SPRING is here? Me too! I’m feeling so energized by this warm weather, sunshine, spring bulbs popping up through the soil and singing birds! I love this time of year!
Now that we’re through the doldrums of winter, I am going back to our regular farm fresh recipes. I hope you enjoyed a little variation with our culinary trip around the world!
This weekend I met with a wonderful guy that has a bright future in the Atlanta area. He has a business based in Roswell. While he concentrates on gardening, he is launching a line of pickled veggies that we are going to carry on the market! Here’s a little about Michael and his team:
“Georgia Victory Gardens can help you plan, construct, and service your vegetable garden providing quality seedlings, seeds and their enriching history.”
Check them out here:
https://georgiavictorygardens.com/

Some more news…. We have had our breads at Cherokee Market for the past 13 years (yes, that’s right!), and they will now be carrying our whole line of baked goods, fruits, herbs and veggies this year!
The farm stand will be opening soon as well!
Have a great week!

Champaign, OH:  Listen To Your Head...

…it’s telling you to feed it with all of the loveliness that the market has to offer, and to get those orders in, all day, today…

You don’t want sadness, tomorrow morning, at 8am, when you realize you forgot to order!!

I hope you had a lovely weekend!! I took a bit of time off, went to Columbus, stayed the night, saw a Grateful Deadish band play, twirled around, made some cool friends, and then returned, yesterday, totally renewed. Well, a bit tired, but totally renewed…lol.

Now, it’s all about getting my market orders in, just like you!!

I am on vacation mode, this week, as I work on soups for The Empty Bowls event on Thursday evening, and I am also getting ready for a big weekend, this coming weekend!!

Also, vendors who are low on product, will be back in full force in these coming weeks!! It’s a good, yet frustrating thing to be low on product, like the meats, but they are at the mercy of the processing, and have learned to be patient, while frustrated…

Ok, get on with your day, after you make a note of what to order!!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
