(ABC-Jackson 5)
That’s right…today’s theme is all about the A, B, and C’s…and, I am here to tell you all about it, and prompt you to get your tickets for our upcoming, annual State Of The Plate!!
And…this year, we are throwing such a twist into things!! In the past, we have taken you on adventures around the county, in beautiful barn settings, on the crisp autumn days.
This year, we are excited to announce that we are…
Going Back To School with State Of The Plate!!! At Graham High School!!! We are taking you to another part of the county, and we chose Graham High School because this is going to be the location for….drumroll…after years and years and years of working on a shared commercial kitchen, and grant after grant after grant…we FINALLY were awarded a grant, AND, have a physical location!!! And, if you come to State Of The Plate, you will get to tour the kitchen, have an AMAZING local lunch prepared by vendors, meet local producers, who will be set up, in a local market setting, with their products, you will get to go back to school through the cafeteria line, and you will be treated to speakers who will be talking about the commercial kitchen!! Youth speakers who our up and coming producers/influencers!! And, we will also have a quick visit with this market, the umbrella of all the markets, to show the ease of it, the hopes of it, and how it all works, together, with the A, B, C’s of the commercial kitchen, the local foods council, the Graham staff/facility, the chamber, and you!! The community!!
Get your tickets, now, through the chamber office!!
The date is October 21!!
And, while you are marking that on your calendar, go ahead and get your orders in, for this week!!
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Good morning!
This is just a friendly reminder to place your order online by 10 pm tonight.
Remember to hit that last “submit” button. I really dislike disappointing a customer who comes to market, only to find no order in their name because they didn’t hit the last button. When your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If for any reason you fail to receive this confirmation, please contact Linda as soon as you realize it’s missing.
Also please go to our Facebook page & like, comment, and share this week’s post. Facebook isn’t allowing me to post on multiple sites, or post multiple photos. So please help us spread the word. Surveys indicate that word of mouth is the most effective form of advertisement. Please help us advertise our fantastic growing market!
See you on Thursday!
Blessings,
Michael & Linda

Yalaha, FL: Sorry I haven't been consistent
September has been so Freaking HOT this year. I had been hoping for an early cool down this season so that we could get the fall crops coming early. Sigh.
Anyway, I’m not going to open the Market this week or next but Send me a message if you really want something.
What I have in ample supply includes;
Weeds (they come with a bonus, pull them yourself.)
Goats
Sunflower Shoots
and
Aloe
Thanks,
Aleece
Anyway, as I said, if you want anything we actually have at this time just send me a message (Next year I might have to take all of September off.)
Winnsboro, TX: Market is Open
Good morning,
I keep wishing for Fall to come early, but it is not cooperating so far! Growers continue to struggle this time of year, battling the heat, but at least the roadsides are looking a little happier since the rain.
We have several vendors traveling this month too, so please bear with us as our selection is a bit slim. By next month, we should be harvesting sweet potatoes & winter squash, as well as enjoying cooler temperatures!
Have a wonderful week,
Stacy
