Miami County Locally Grown:  Where are the Greens?!

I promise to send an email as soon as I know any Greens are available again!

By the weekend we may know what is possible to cut safely, but with a good Ohio winter upon us, a week out is too unpredictable for vendors to confidently make any quantity available!

Thanks for your patience and understanding of just how dependent many of us are with that most uncontrollable factor… Weather! What a fun, thrilling way to make a living!!! ;-)

Miami County Locally Grown:  Honey! Back on the Market!!

This week we introduce just the first of many products from our newest vendor, the Grumpy Goat Experiment in New Bremen!

The honey is just a taste of what this diverse, hard-working farm has to offer! With seasonal produce, wool and yarn from their sheep and goats, and the breads you loved at the last Night Market this past December, we love their enthusiasm in joining our ever-changing Market family!

It is SO exciting to be able to offer raw Honey back on the Market… Troy’s own beloved Pumpkin Patch, who always offer their incredible varietal honeys with us and the Miami County Farmer’s Market in the summer at Lowe’s, is just too popular as they’ve been sold out for so long!

Happy Shopping, and THANK YOU for your continued support of our all-local Market!

Champaign, OH:  The Last Call!

Go ahead…get groovy…get your orders in by 8am, this morning!!

The market is all crazy happy, again, and we don’t want you to miss out on the fun, food, and fantastic feeling you get when you walk away with so much market love, each Thursday!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Middle Tennessee Locally Grown:  Reminder: Ordering Closes at 10 pm

Manchester Locally Grown market

Our pickup location is across the street from the Manchester City Schools administration building, at

216 East Fort Street, Manchester, TN

If you don’t see a map, click on the address link.

Good evening!

This is just a friendly reminder to place your order online for this week. Market ordering will close tonight (Tuesday) at 10 pm. Please don’t forget to order! But if you do forget, give me (Linda) a call Wednesday morning. I will most likely be able to get hold of the farmers and place a late order for you.

Remember to hit that last “submit” button. I really dislike disappointing a customer who comes to market, only to find no order in their name because they didn’t hit the last button. When your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If for any reason you fail to receive this confirmation, please contact Linda as soon as you realize it’s missing.

Also please go to our Facebook page and like, comment, and share this week’s post. Facebook isn’t allowing me to post on multiple sites, or sometimes post multiple photos. So please help us spread the word. Surveys indicate that word of mouth is the most effective form of advertisement. Please help us advertise our fantastic growing market!

See you on Thursday!

Blessings,
Michael & Linda

Miami County Locally Grown:  Benefit Dance and Auction for Violet Bensman

Long-time Market supporter Katie Bensman was known to most of you as popular vendor Mother Suds Soap Company until last summer when she walked away from the business to focus on her and husband Matt’s growing family of three beautiful, spunky girls.

The family’s lives were forever changed last October when eldest daughter, 5 year old Violet, was diagnosed with High-Grade Astrocytoma, an aggressive brain cancer.

As you can read on the flyer posted on our Facebook page, and for those of you privileged to know this lovely family, Violet is a fighter with a vivacious spirit!

Their families have put together a Benefit Dance and Auction for Friday, February 1st, where all proceeds will go to help Violet and her family in their on-going journey with cancer.

Located at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Versailles, Ohio, the event schedule is as follows:

7:00pm – Doors Open

7:30pm – Opening Prayer for Violet

8:00pm – Live Music by the Demange Brothers

9:30pm – Live Auction begins (large items)

10:30pm – Silent Auction closes

11:00pm – Silent Auction winners announced

11:30pm – 50/50 cash drawing (need not be present to win)

With appetizers and a cash bar, the night’s Live Auction items include a 5 night trip to Myrtle Beach, 1/2 of a Beef, and much more.
