From Triple B Farm/Pickleweeds/Templar:
All natural, no pesticides, no chemicals used on our herbs, plants, products or animals. Our animals enjoy lots of pasture and feed we mix ourselves free from corn, wheat and soy. Which makes yummy eggs and milk. Our lovely herbs and plants are used in our teas, fresh and dried herbs and also our all natural incense. Our coffee is locally roasted right here in Coffee County, made especially for us. We are a family owned and run small farm and local business.

From Sow’s Ear Piggery:
NEW PORK PRODUCTS added to this week’s market including 1-lb+/- packages of 2 pork chops, Top Round and Bottom Round Roasts, and Skin-On Boneless Pork Loin Roasts. The Top and Bottom Round Roasts come sleeved in netting for a professional presentation. The skin-on loin is our first-time experience with skin-on pork, and more of these products are soon to be added. Cross-hatch the skin for a crispy finish, while the modest middle layer of fat keeps everything tender and juicy. Or, choose our boneless, skinless loin.
These new additions join the standard cutlets, ground pork, breakfast sausage, and other listed products. As always, you are enjoying non-GMO, non-corn, non-soy, non-antibiotic, free-range pork when you purchase our products.

A CUSTOMER REVIEW
Thank you Mrs. M. for sharing your thoughts and giving permission to make them public.
You know me well and when Im unhappy with a product I let you know and I also let you know when Im excited about one.
I was disappointed to hear that Mr Danny had decided to retire from the market and I genuinely wish him well. I have enjoyed his produce for many years and selfishly couldn’t imagine what I was going to do without him.
They always say when God causes one door he opens another.
When I saw the new listings from Martins Harvest I was happily intrigued. Last week I ordered an entire farm share complete with a really great zipper close bag. I am happy to report that so far I am loving everything I ordered. The Butterhead Lettuce is the best I’ve every eaten and the head was huge! We had it with sliced fresh pears and a homemade champagne vinaigrette dressing. The Red Leaf and Spring Mix have been fantastic in all sorts of other salads. There were enough Stir Fry greens that I added a little onion, carrot and peppers and it made a delicious full meal for the 2 of us. I am planning on mixing the Micro Greens with the remainder of the lettuces for a big chef salad tomorrow.
Over all, while I am sorry to lose Mr Danny I am thrilled at this new source and wish them great success in the Market At Dothan.

Ordering Info: If you are one of an increasing number of M@D customers who place your orders on your smart phone it’s important to know to refresh your page during the process, especially right before you hit the “Place My Order” button. It’s come up a couple of times now that people are not seeing all of their information and the last thing you want to do is accidentally order too many Avalon chickens! Some phones have a refresh icon and some require pulling down on a screen or similar action so you may need to research how to do this on your particular unit.
AVALON FARMS:
![Screenshot_20210410-092317_Brave](https://i.ibb.co/7gHKgtt/Screenshot-20210410-092317-Brave.jpg)
This is one of our official vacation t-shirts. It reminds us that we don’t have to do anything.
Avalon Farms is taking a vacation. With the initial Spring rush down to a dull roar, we are taking a few days off and away from the farm. There is always more to do but nothing critical at the moment. See you next week!
Speaking of next week, we should be able to list lots of greens: kale, semposai, tokyo bekana, several shades and colors of bok choi. Everything survived the cold snap nicely. Coming soon will be: asparagus, sugar snap peas and garlic scapes.

MIKES PET MEATS sends appreciation for a great welcome to M@D. While these products are traditionally prepared RAW PET FOOD, (meaning not for human consumption) they are excellent quality and nutritionally sound for most dogs and cats.
We thank you for your interest and support of our efforts to bring you the healthiest, the freshest and the most delicious locally-produced foods possible! `

CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!

McColloms Market: April Market Is Now Open
Hi All:
The April Market is now open until Monday night. Please note that this will be the last market session until the Fall when I’ll start it up again in October.
Also, unfortunately, Dandelion Farms had an equipment failure a couple of weeks ago and, although Jenni has replanted, I don’t think she’ll have lettuce to harvest until after next week’s pick up. If I hear otherwise, I will let you know.
Thanks and have a good day.
