Connie's Cornucopia: Rock House Creamery Milk Sale
Be sure to check out the sales of the Rock House Creamery Milk this week. If you already put your order in, we will adjust your order with the new prices.
*This is the most natural form of milk, superior in both taste and nutritional value. We also use LOW temperature pasteurization, which preserves gut-friendly bacteria as well as maintaining the delicious fresh flavor of the milk. This milk is NOT homogenized, which leads to the high-fat cream to the top. *
The Jersey-Holstein herd at Rock House Creamery spends the rest of their time eating, resting, and socializing.
The process begins with the cows themselves who spend the majority of their day grazing in pasture. Our forage and irrigation specialists make sure that we grow just the right grass for their health and enjoyment, and due to modern production conveniences, they are milked for only 30 minutes per day.

McIntosh Field & Flower: We’ll be popping up this week at Market Pick-Up! On Wednesday June 14th you’ll find us on the porch at Quinn’s – be sure to order your flowers in advance for first pick or come in person to choose your own on Weds!
We farm all of our flowers right here in Murfreesboro and keeping them as local as possible is our goal. This week you’ll find farm fresh cut flower bunches, gorgeous edible flowers, and loads of colorful floral confetti. We’ve also added a straight bunch of our thick stemmed, sturdy snapdragons. The growing season is in full swing – don’t miss out on this early summer bounty!
East Fork Farm: Luffa
What is a luffa? Think of a “scrubby” used in the shower. Maybe you think of a “sponge”. Luffa is a vegetable and a member of the squash family. When small (about 6") it can be eaten like okra. But at East Fork Farm, we allow them to remain on the vine and grow all summer long until right before the first frost. At that point, they are pulled, dried out, shucked of their outer hard flesh and stripped. This provides long cylindrical shaped sponge to use in many ways. We love our luffa. It has SO many uses. From cleaning your pots, pans and dishes, scrubbing showers, floors, to even a safe chew toy for dogs.
Shroomegy Gourmet Mushrooms:
We are proud to provide truly local and fresh mushrooms from our farm right here in Murfreesboro. Our grow room is overflowing with delicious fresh mushrooms! We also have Lion’s Mane powders and tinctures. Preliminary studies show Lion’s Mane mushrooms help with memory and brain function. I put a dropper full of tincture or a teaspoon of powder in my coffee each morning to help with concentration and focus. THIS WEEK ONLY – get a Lion’s Mane powder sample with any order.
Yentz Family Farm: We are a small family owned farmed based in Shelbyville, TN. Our mission is to provide fresh local produce and goods to serve our local communities while improving our footprint on the earth. Having been raised on a dairy farm in New England, I have longed to return to the farming community, and this second career has provided me with the opportunity to continue that dream while serving others.
Country White Bread, Banana Bread, Banana Nut Bread, Blueberry Bread, Chocolate Chip Bread, Cinnamon Bread, several variations of Chex Mix, Popcorn collection, Chow Chow Relish, Jalapeno Cowboy Candy, Several Traditional Salsa’s, Blueberry Jam, Apple Maple Jam, Tomato Jam and Strawberry Jam

Be sure to check back over the weeks as I’m excited to begin adding new products for summer!

RC Farms: Large selection of fruit and vegetable, various meats and prepared frozen meals and fruit.

Enjoy a dazzling array of new flavors. Plants are at their absolute peak of flavor intensity at this stage of life. They pack 40x more vital nutrients than their mature counterparts. Come check us out!"

MISC MARKET NOTES
Editor’s Note – We love our customers and love the wealth of knowledge and experience they are so willing to share to help others. What follows is from our own Sherrie T. who contributed to this unique website to both educate and warn about hidden environmenal dangers all of us are exposed it. We highly recommend you bookmark this valuable resource.
That’s the first thing you’ll see on the home page of the Fragrance Free Coalition. While there’s not a lot of information about the Fragrance Free Coalition (FFC) itself, it’s obvious that those involved put a LOT of thought, research and development into the poster that follows. Sherrie T. was one of those who poured many hours into its development. While the poster (below)is printable, each part on the website is interactive and when clicked on leads to pages and pages of research showing the dangers of things in our environment that can cause harm. The website linked above is fragrancefreecoalition.com.
JBW Farm Fresh: More fences are going up and the herds are expanding. The ground is getting harder to push posts into so we are having to drill holes to place them into. Yesterday we finished doing the last of our filming for a video of life on our farm. A snippet of what the finished video will look like can be found on our Instagram or Facebook page! We cooked some of our short ribs in the crockpot and they were so tender and delicious. We still have a selection of those up for sale and highly recommend you to try them!
Mt. Moriah Farms: As many of you know Mt. Moriah worked together as a family long before our family started going many directions. We thought you’d enjoy seeing that we’re working on training the next generation! Thank you for your support of our goat milk products!
We look forward to seeing you next Friday at one of our pickup locations. Thank you for your interest and support of our efforts to bring you the healthiest, the freshest and the most delicious locally-produced foods possible!
