Spa City Local Farm Market Co-op: Arkansas Natural Produce reminder
You’ll need to place orders for Arkansas Natural Produce by Monday night as they have an earlier closing period in order to harvest on time.
Please make every effort to pick up on Friday, or arrange for a friend to pick up for you. Set an alarm on your cell to remind you if necessary.
And remember, we need volunteers for every pick up. See the Volunteer Spot banner at the top of the market page to sign up. It’s fun, you get two months added to your membership, and a $5 gift card for each full shift worked.

Republican Valley Produce: Market is open
Sorry this is late, it has been a busy week this week. We are busy planting seeds in the house to be planted out in a few weeks. We have the first 350 tomatoes up and growing. Seed orders are coming in daily and we have another 400 to get started this weekend. We will also be starting many other cool season crops with hopes of an early spring. It is a busy time.
A few things about what is available this week, the spinach isn’t available as it has been harvested down and it is yellowing. I am hoping with some water, sunlight and warmth, we will see a rapid onset of new growth. We are also out of scarlet kale and swiss chard. We will have more in the weeks to come.
I will extend orders until Sunday at 10 pm, with the nice weather next week I shouldn’t have any problems getting things picked.
Thanks,
Jay

Carolina Foothills, SC: Market is Closed for a couple weeks
Hello,
I am sorry to say I will need to keep the market closed at least 2 possibly longer weeks.
My mom has been going in and out of the ER for a week in a half and FINALLY her Dr. Was able to get her in and seriously looked at.
She kept getting released with a diagnosis of Arthritis…. Stereotyped.
My mom BROKE her back.
I am there for her first and foremost so I am guessing 2 weeks but I could be gone longer. Right now they are trying to prevent surgery but who knows….
Thanks for understanding,
Susan
