Independence,VA: The On-Line Market is OPEN!
Hello everybody!
The On-Line Market is also open again for orders to be picked up August 17th, between 5-7. Remember to check back everyday for new items added on!
If you don’t have the time to swing by the Outdoor Market on Fridays, what better way to get what you need and pick it up on your way home on Wednesday evening?! Be sure to check out the “What’s New” section and the vegetable section for new veggies coming! We’ve had potatoes and tomatoes and okra is coming in! Also, there has been some of the delicious salsa that is an award winner you MUST try!!
Just a reminder, the Market closes to orders at 8 pm Monday evening. If you have questions, feel free to email me at [email protected] or call 276-235-8230. Please bring cash or checks. You’ll still be dealing with each individual vendor.

The farmers’ fields are bursting with fresh vegetables. How can you let all that goodness just pass you by? We also have many new craftspeople who have their goods displayed here.

Beyond Organics and Green Fork Farm have okra available. Green Fork Farm also has Zinnia bouquets, cayenne peppers, mixed color bell peppers, and rosemary.
Also available this week:
Vegetables—Slicing tomatoes, green tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, summer squash, winter squash, cucumbers, potatoes, sweet potato greens, garlic, beans, mixed veggies, and peppers—green bell, mixed color bell, sweet Italian, sweet banana, poblano, Anaheim, medium jalapeno, hot Thai, Aji Criolla Sella, habanero, Tabasco, Datil, Carolina Reaper, and mixed hot peppers.
Honey—Local and delicious.
Herbs—Basil, sage, fennel, rosemary, mixed herb packs, and mixed herb bouquets.
Eggs—Pastured, free range chicken and duck eggs.
Meat—Pastured beef, chicken, goat and lamb.
Fermented foods—Sauerkraut, okra, and jalapenos.

Go ahead and place your order, then pick up and pay on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Nightbird Books in Fayetteville.
