RCM is full of fantastic foods this week! What will be on your menu? Drumsticks from Christal Fields or pork chops from Porch Swing Farms sound tasty. Pine Ridge Gardens has fresh turmeric root and her live plants are always beautiful! Welcome back Wages Farm; we are always happy to have plenty of eggs available! The muscadine season is almost over. Enjoy the sweet grape flavors of Forked Mountain Farms muscadines before they are gone! Conner’s Garden and Sweets fresh basil is a great addition to many dishes and he has pumpkins and herb plants like cilantro, too! Kourtney’s Country Canning and More’s cinnamon raisin bread, Sulphur Springs Truck Patch’s molasses cookies or Lucky Star’s pumpkin bread can all bring the taste of fall to your table! RCM also would like to welcome back Pleasant View! I’m sure her baked goods have been missed and her vegetables are going fast this week! Enjoy her bok choy, radishes or jalapeno peppers. Bluff Top has some yummy looking pork roasts and R&D has a top quality eye of round roast that would make delicious warm dinners! Get your vitamins with fresh turnip greens from Hoof Hollow Hobbies and make your fresh foods taste even better with seasonings from McAnulty Mercantile! Take advantage of Drewry’s amazing apple harvest by sampling all her varieties or get a great deal with their winter squash box. It’s a great way to try several varieties at a discount! Don’t overlook Drewry’s candles; they have some really nice scents! When you pick up your order this Tuesday make sure you meet Kourtney from Kourtney’s Country Canning and More; she will be at the market for a pop-up with her products!
Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
REMINDER- We can no longer accept credit or debit cards. We will still be able to process cash, checks and SNAP/EBT transactions.

As the days grow shorter, most of our garden plants will grow more slowly and produce fewer fruits and vegetables. Some of our farmers will take a gardening break till spring, while others will grow some cool-weather crops for our seasonal dining. This week we are spotlighting Country Road Homestead. Jennifer lists available this week:
cabbage, red & green
sweet potatoes, purple & red
lettuce
arugula
squash, spaghetti, acorn, butternut, and delicata
peppers, serrano & hot
pumpkin bread
pumpkin butter
honey, chia & chipotle
fresh salsa
soft neck garlic
Merriwether Bakes is still having issues with her kitchen appliances and will be off the market for a second week.
McIllwain Market will not have yogurt available this week, but hopes to be able to make it again next week. Erica’s protein balls should be back on the market this week.
Labor of Love goats’ milk will become unavailable in the next couple of weeks, as the goats are dried off for spring kidding. Jamie is sorry for the inconvenience. If you know of anyone selling goats’ milk locally, please ask them to sell on our market.
Please browse all our various categories for new or returning items, as I haven’t had time to go through and check them all out.

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!
PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m.
If you do not get an email ORDER CONFIRMATION after you finish the checkout process, then your order is NOT complete. Head back to the market page, and your order might still be there waiting for you to check out! If you have any trouble or questions at all, we are here to help; simply reply to this email.
Once you place an order, be on the lookout for the order reminder email on Wednesday with further pickup and payment notes. Thanks for your support!
