Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market:  This Week at the Market

Lots of goodness going on here at the market! Take a look!

A reminder that we are a recycling market of all our jars and containers. I do not believe in buying plastics only to be used once and tossed away. I try to incentivize reuse by giving market credits for returned containers. Just swap out your order for returns in your cooler every week and I will (try to remember) credit your account for the next order. Please feel free to remind me if I forget to credit!

Thanks for your support of our small farm and market!

Champaign, OH:  Happy Monday!

Hoping you have all had a lovely weekend, and are refreshed and ready for the week ahead!

I am in Florida, celebrating my grandson’s first birthday, but will see you all at the market on Thursday!

Also, a few announcements!

We have a new vendor, ABCD Woodworking with beautiful charcuterie boards! Perfect for parties, and gift giving!

Also, we welcome, The Great White Pumpkin with their selections of pumpkins, gourds, and winter squash!

Sadly, we say goodbye to Davidson Family Growers, and I am now back to looking for a year round lettuce producer!

This market has so much to offer, so let’s get our weekly orders in, and I will see you on Thursday!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Foothills Market:  The Market is Open!

As all our growers on Foothills Market have found, sometimes the plans you make for your garden just don’t work out. That happened this year for Happy Horseshoe Farm and our sweet potato crop. We had two rows with beautiful, lush vines, and we were excited to see the potatoes beneath. But when we dug the potatoes a week or so ago, we found that a big percentage of the potatoes had split and are not suitable for selling. What a disappointment!

But to paraphrase the saying, “When life gives you split sweet potatoes, make sweet potato breads!” This week, we are offering a selection of items on the market that feature sweet potatoes, ranging from a rich sweet potato-cinnamon bread to decadent sweet potato mini-muffins to light sweet potato biscuits.

Browse the market between now and 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. Place your order, and we’ll have it ready for pickup on Thursday afternoon.

Eat something fresh this week!
