Good morning!

This very late email is sent to serve several purposes.

Most importantly, I neglected to add our special of the week to the regular weekly mailing. My apologies to Wayne Diller for failing to mention the reduced prices on his chicken cuts. If you would like some chicken this week, please place your order by 10 am on Wednesday, or let me (Linda) know that it will be coming later.

Second, I wanted to remind you of our new Tullahoma pickup location. Please encourage your Tullahoma area friends to check out our fantastic market!

Third, this message is also a friendly reminder to place your order online for this week. Market ordering for this week only will close on Wednesday at 10 am. Please don’t forget to place your order soon! If you can’t place an order by that time, give me (Linda) a call, and I will see if I can place a late order for you.

Remember to hit that last “submit” button. I really dislike disappointing a customer who comes to market, only to find no order in their name because they didn’t hit the last button. When your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If for any reason you fail to receive this confirmation, please contact Linda as soon as you realize it’s missing.

Also please go to our Facebook page and like, comment, and share this week’s post. Facebook isn’t allowing me to post on multiple sites, or sometimes post multiple photos. So please help us spread the word. Surveys indicate that word of mouth is the most effective form of advertisement. Please help us advertise our fantastic growing market!

Thank you, and see you on Thursday!

Blessings,
Linda & Michael

Yalaha, FL:  Kale Sale

Kale Sale

Order now through 5 pm Thursday April 4th for Saturday April 6th Pickup, (or contact me if you want a different day, we do have some flexibility.) Again this week Friday may be best or early Sat Morning.

Remember to tell me when you want to pick up!

Calendula flowers are available (let me know if I should add them to the market) Eddible and/or medicinal. I haven’t done pictures to make the listing but they are Bright Orange.

Let me know if you are interested in getting fresh cultures for Kombucha, Milk Kefir, or Water Kefir. My Kefir grains especially have been growing fast. The Kombucha scoby is a little slower about it.

Please let me know what micro greens or shoots you are interested in and I can start growing enough to make them available (most take less than 2 weeks.)
Also, if you want me to list super foods like Purslane, let me know, I have it volunteering wild here and I also have nettles this season.

If you have any particular requests, let me know I’m happy to grow to order.

Sign in to order. https://yalaha.locallygrown.net/market

You have to sign in to see the add to cart button. Then set the number and click the add to cart button on the items you want to buy (it is the little picture right next to the quantity box.) Remember you need to check out before your order will be placed.
Remember to let me know when you want to pick up on Sat or maybe even Friday late afternoon or on Sunday. (If I don’t send you an e-mail confirmation of your order and pick up time, please make sure you checked out and completed your order.)

The Cumming Harvest - Closed:  March 27th Market Opens

The Online Market is open for ordering from 8 AM Wednesday March 27th till 8 PM on Thursday March 28st at 8 PM.

Our growers are working hard to bring you the freshest products this week so please feel free to make your selections.

Doug’s Wild Alaska Salmon has restocked I’m told so check it out. Doug mentioned that this was the last of his stock for this year.

Remember the New Customer Referral Program

From March 20 through June 30

How it Works

  1. 1. Tell a friend about the CUMMING HARVEST farmers market.
  2. 2. Have them register at cumming.locallygrown.net. (the market managers will contact all new customers to ask who referred them)
  3. 3. After their third purchase (3 different weeks), your credit will be applied to your account.

Thank you for sharing your love of healthy food and for helping to support our local growers!
