Statesboro Market2Go: The Market is Open!
Thanks for shopping with us! Find lots of fresh, delicious, local produce, fresh herbs, milk, butter, goat cheese, seafood, shrimp, beef, and pork. We also have items that are already prepared and ready to eat, made from local ingredients.
Prosser’s Seafood is catching some big shrimp – find them online or at the Saturday market for his first fresh-caught Georgia shrimp of the season!
Strawberries, Asparagus, Carrots, and Green Onions are coming in now – look for them from Jacobs Produce.
Bootleg Farm and Southern Swiss Dairy both have their products online. They are no longer regulars at the Saturday Market, so look for them here!
Remember we have changed locations for our Statesboro pickup to the Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau at 222 S. Main St. Hours will remain the same, and our Sylvania pickup will remain the same at Victory Garden General Store.

Huge thanks to all who ordered for our first order period! We sold out last week, and the farmers are so excited to be growing food for all of you!
And it’s another great week for vegetables! We’ve got even more products listed this weekend, with spring greens and root veggies at their peak!
Some highlights include:
- Arugula
- Spinach
- Baby Lettuces
- Baby Tatsoi + other asian greens
- Mint and tons of herbs!
- Sweet salad turnips and a variety of small radishes
The market is open from Friday evening until Monday at noon each week. Restaurant orders will be delivered on Tuesday afternoon and all other orders will be available for pickup at The Nashville Food Project’s California kitchen on Wednesday evening at the farm stand or Thursday all day. Orders are filled on a first come, first serve basis. If we are out of an item, please let us know in the comments section of your order and we will do our best to fill your request.
In this market, you’ll find products offered from the Growing Together collective as well as from individuals farmers in the Growing Together program. All of our products offered are grown using natural, sustainable methods. No chemicals are used on the vegetables we offer you through our market! Miami County Locally Grown: Two new additions to our Market family!
What a day! Congratulations are certainly in order!
Yesterday morning Ryan and Bree Leach of Live Simply Live Richly Farm welcomed Mila Jo, their 3rd child, into the world – incredibly, just 3 hours after Lee and I were Blessed with our 5th, Anna Rose! Good thing for the midwife our End of the Road Farm is only 20 minutes from the Leach family! ;-).
Everyone is doing well, and how wonderful to see their 2 other children and our other 4 enthralled with the new additions! Don’t you just love the newness of Spring?!

We have rhubarb, greenhouse grown, now ready to harvest. Get that first taste of local in season freshness.
If you are considering ordering but can’t pick up today, no problem, I’ll pick and chill your greens for you in the cooler. You can pick up anytime on the weekend or even next monday/tuesday. Just depends how fresh-picked you want it!

Most of downtown is blocked off to vehicles for the toad festival today, so plan your drive to the market accordingly.
We will have extra broccoli, asparagus, and lots of other goodies from the garden on the extras table today, so come early for the best selection.
Maria will have a table full of her delicious jams, jellies, pickles, etc. She will also be offering samples of her spinach dip and blackberry syrup!
If you ordered plants, please bring a box to put them in.
This is a pickup reminder for those of you who ordered this week. Thank you for your order! You can pick up your order from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. today at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 925 Mitchell Street in Conway.
If something comes up that you cannot personally pick up your order today, please contact someone to pick up for you.
Remember to bring your EGGSHELLS, glass jars for recycling, egg cartons, and bags for ordered items. Reduce, reuse, recycle! See you this afternoon.
