Market News
This will be the last market of August – it’s hard to believe that it’s almost September! We plan on running this market through the winter, so rest assured we’ll keep you in vegetables and other tasty treats even as it gets cold.
Please remember as you order that per the POA’s instructions, we cannot leave your food unattended. If you need us to deliver to your neighbor or slip your order inside your house, please be sure to tell us in the comments so we can make sure your order gets to you safely!
If you have other suggestion about how we can continue to make deliveries without being able to leave products unattended, we’d love to hear them. We’re still developing the best ways to get your orders to you, and we welcome any of your ideas.
As always, if you enjoy being a member of Big Canoe Harvest, tell your friends! The more the market grows, the more additional vendors and products we’ll be able to include. As always, your feedback help shapes the market. Let us know what you think about the Big Canoe Harvest products.
Have a wonderful week, and we’ll see you Saturday!

Statesboro Market2Go: Order Before Midnight!
Remember to place your Market2Go order before midnight for pickup on Thursday.
We have quite a lot of announcements here at Market2Go this week! First off, we have three new vendors this week:
Terra Dolce Farms is offering both their local extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Terra Dolce Farms has been growing olive trees for 10 years, the olives grow throughout summer and are then harvested and pressed in the fall.
Uncle Shug’s is now on Market2Go and their Ol’ Timey BBQ Sauce is now available for purchase. Wwe’re sure it would pair well with the beef, chicken, and pork offered by our meat vendors!
And finally, we’d like to welcome Ebenezer Greens, who has several healthy and flavorful microgreen mixes to choose from.
In other news, E.L.F.’s Kitchen now has both plain and everything bagels for sale, and spaghetti squash is available from Jacobs Produce.
Be sure to check out the recipe section on Market2Go if you’re looking for some culinary inspiration!
Thank you for supporting your local farmers and vendors!

Song Implant from market customer, Kathleen…
Good morning, market customers, on this bright and sunny Tuesday morning!
This song just seems to scream summertime fun, with the groovy beat, the lyrics of brightness, sunshine, happiness…much like I hope the market has been doing for you, all summer long!
The market is full of brightly colored produce, a whole lot of greens, and, we get the golden back with another round of market roadside sweet corn from Champaign Berry Farm, on Thursday, and, to also brighten the week, they have added their sunflower arrangements to the market, this week!
We have richly colored tomatoes, in all colors, peppers in many hues, and the list goes on…
Please take a minute to get your orders in because the market will close, this evening, at 8pm, for the week!
Here’s hoping you have a colorful, groovy day, lovelies…
