Gwinnett Locally Grown: NEW Referral Program - Market OPEN
Starting TODAY!
Refer-a-Friend Program
Beginning this week, we are implementing a new referral program. When a customer views their cart, there is a spot for comments that says “comments for market managers”. When a new customer puts YOUR name in the comments section of their first order, they will be credited $5 off that order and YOUR account will be credited $5 off your next order. Refer as many people as you want, but they must be new customers placing their first order. Your $5 off discounts can add up quickly, so hurry and tell a friend!Don’t forget to follow us on facebook and on instagram @gwinnettlocallygrown for discount codes and promotions!
With today’s e-mail, I am not including a total list of our market products. I would like to eliminate unnecessary length to the e-mails you receive. How do you feel about this change? I’m always listening to your suggestions.
The market is open! Happy ordering!
Amanda
The Market is open Thursday at 9am – Monday at noon
After Monday at noon, ordering is disabled until Thursday morning.

As Always….
Please share with friends and family about us so that we can give more people the opportunity to buy and eat healthy! Local farmers need our support to keep providing us with all the fresh foods! If we don’t give them enough business, it’s hard for them to continue to deliver to us. Please let’s not let that happen! Tell your friends about us so we can keep the Growers supported as this is how they make their living.
Thank you to all of you who support Gwinnett Locally Grown!
If there is something you’d like to see in the Market, please let me know! I would love your input!
Remember…
The Market has extended their hours! The Market is now open for pickup from 4-7pm on Tuesday!
Having said that, if you place an order with us, PLEASE remember to pick it up on Tuesday. We cannot hold orders, especially cold items due to limited refrigeration space, so please be courteous and come for your order.

New Field Farm's Online Market: Weblog Entry
Greetings,
A few small green cabbages survived the porcupines (I caught another tonight in the kale)so we have some to offer.
There’s some nice Summer Crisp lettuce that got nipped by frost so we’re offering that for a bit less than usual.
The hoop house has a nice stand of lettuce, kale, arugula and spinach so we’ll see how long we can offer greens into the fall.
Still lots of onions, potatoes, carrots, leeks, kale, chard, spinach and bok choy.
Looks like we’ll have a little honey to offer again this year once we extract it.
Enjoy the beautiful autumn and thank you for your orders.
Tim

Martin's Farmstand: Sweet potatoes
Sweet potatoes, lots of sweet potatoes, we have successfully grown lots of nice big sweet potatoes. In past years the sweet potato harvest was an awful lot of work as we dug them with a spade; they dig hard. This year I bought a tool for the tractor that reaches underneath the whole bed and loosens the ground with out stirring the soil much. It was a much easier process. I am looking forward to parsnip harvest.
The big fall irish potato harvest will begin late next week or early the following week, depending on soil conditions.
We just had some really good white sweet corn for supper. This last planting is at its prime right now. Daniel
