Grumpy Goat: Weblog Entry
First off the farm store will be open 2-6:30 today. We really need bags so if you want to clear your cabinets of any paper or plastic bags please feel free to drop them off.
Get edamame beans while you can – we only have one more row to harvest after today. We still have lots of peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, okra, etc. Also we have a new kitty on the farm. She showed up this morning and seemed very excited to see people again. Our best guess is that someone dropped her in farm country and she’s been wandering for a while. She’s definitely skinny but is very friendly, albeit a little weary at first. So if you see this new orange gal walking around show her some love. We will be putting a kitty support jar in the store. If anyone is feeling extra generous we would much appreciate funds to put towards this gals vet bills. We hate to ask, but we are maxed out on vet bills for the year with two icu stays, two Ohio state vet trips, on top of all the normal vet visits and the additional kitty litter and the spaying of that mama cat earlier this year. We will be taking her for her shots and to get spayed and all funds donated will go towards that. If you can donate ,Thank you, and if you can’t just give her some lovin’!
Lastly , on Friday we will have watermelons and the first delicattas of the season. All bread on Friday will be brought to Handmade Harvest at Hausfeld Motors in Munster. Stop on down 2-7! Or Saturday 9-12.
Champaign, OH: Tuesday Wake Up!
Just letting you know that you have a half hour before the market closes for the week!!
Make life easy, and full of local love and goodness…throw us your orders!
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
