2 stalks Celery (finely chopped)
850 grams Goat leg meat (diced)
2 tablespoons Flour
100 grams Mushrooms (quartered)

3 teaspoons Chopped rosemary leaves
1 cup Beef gravy
1 sheet Frozen ready-rolled puff pastry (partially thawed)
1 Egg (lightly beaten)

Tomato sauce
And/or Relish
A salad (as a side)

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook stirring for 5 minutes, then add the garlic, carrot, and celery and cook for 4 minutes. Remove the vegetables from the saucepan and set them aside. Reserve the pan.
  2. Dust the goat meat with the flour, then add 1 tablespoon of oil to the saucepan. Cook the goat in batches at high heat until browned.
  3. Add all of the goat meat to the saucepan along with the onions, carrots, celery, mushrooms, wine, and tomatoes. Bring the mixture to a boil (stirring constantly).

  5. Let the mixture cool, put it into a baking dish, cover with the puff pastry, and brush the pastry topping with the beaten egg. Bake until golden brown, then set aside to cool. Serve with tomato sauce, relish, and/or a side salad.
