Zucchini Pie

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
4 cups
Thinnly sliced zucchini
1 cup
onion
1 tsp
Fresh basil leaves
1/4 tsp
oregano
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
garlic powder or fresh garlic minced
8 oz
shredded cheese (mozarella, cheddar )
4
eggs
1 8oz
crescent rolls
1/2 cup
butter
Step by Step Instructions
- Saute zucchini,onion,basil,oregano ,garlic and salt in butter in a skillet
- Mix cheese and beaten eggs in a separate bowl
- combine sauted veggies and the egg and cheese mixture not in the hot pan
- Crust - line the pan of choice with the crescent rolls I use a rectangular pan but a pie pan may be used
- Put the zucchini mixture into the crust lined pan and bake at 350 for 35-40 min May be less in a pie pan
