Creamy Mushroom Soup

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
2 cloves
garlicc, minced
3 Tbsp
butter
12 oz
oyster mushrooms
2 Tbsp
flour
1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
dried basil
1 1/2 cup
chicken broth
1 1/2 cup
half & half
Step by Step Instructions
- First, heat your pot to medium high. Melt your butter. Add your mushrooms and garlic and cook until they are tender and release their juice. About 3-5 minutes.
- Next, stir in the flour, salt, pepper, and dried basil. Let it cook for 1 minute. Whisk in the broth. Cook until thickened. Reduce heat, and add in half and half. Heat through slowly, so your cream doesn’t seperate. Stir often, and let it rest 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
