Champaign, OH:  Summer Breeze

Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind…
(Seals and Croft)

I was outside, early, this morning, watering all of my flowers, and sat down, in the early morning sunshine, to enjoy a cup of coffee, and started singing this tune, silently, while the day began to unfold.

It is Saturday, the orders are already pouring in, and I wanted to take this time to thank you, to tell you that you all are very loved and appreciated, in this market family, and that I adore, each Thursday evening, when we can load your cars up with all of the love from this market and it’s amazing vendors.

Last week we enjoyed the garlic scapes, and totally bought them out! JCGrowers is letting them have a week’s regrowth, and then we will see them, next week!

Asparagus will be with us, one more week! Take advantage!

Beef was restocked, and reloaded on the market site!!

Each week will bring more and more seasonal produce, and we do have spinach coming, soon, from Truck Patch Naturals, your microgreens growers!

There has been a big cry because I was ending my soups for the season, so I am going to bring them back, but it will be one variety, each week, in an individual size, along with a Cosmic roll, and a disposable spoon, in a little lunch bag, for my Cosmic Love On The Run soup edition! Perfect for the one serving to take for your lunch, or have for a quick dinner! I will be adding that, today!

I think that is all of the news of the day…

Sweet days of summer…

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

ORDER PROCESS. Place your orders by midnight Tuesday for pickup/delivery on Thursday afternoon. There will be no Friday pickup this week.

Please choose your pickup location from the drop-down menu before you check out. The option is there, just above the “Pay Now” box. Your selected location will be on your order verification.
Options are

  • Statesboro: Thursday afternoon at SCVB
  • Sylvania: Thursday afternoon at Victory Garden General Store
  • To Your Home Delivery (must add delivery to cart and prepay)

If you’re using the drive-through, please display a placard with your name.

We recommend that all customers bring cooler(s) or insulated bag(s) with cool packs inside to keep food fresh and safe, especially any meat, seafood or dairy items.

Market stays open from Fridays 9 p.m. until at least 9 p.m. Mondays!

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!

PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m.

If you do not get an email ORDER CONFIRMATION right after you order then your order is NOT complete. Log back in and your order might still be there waiting for you to check out! If you have any trouble or questions at all, we are here to help; simply reply to this email.

Independence,VA:  Market is OPEN for June 12th pickup!

*

Good evening,

The Market is open and ready for you to order!

To Shop: Independence Farmers Market.

Schedule Your Pickup Time: Calendly.
After you click “Confirm” on your time, be sure to enter your information and click, “Schedule an Event”. You will get a confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation, you are not scheduled and need to try again. This is new for all of us, let me know if you need help.

We’re working hard to make sure everyone’s order is complete when you pick it up on Friday. Unfortunately, our system isn’t always foolproof.
If you can, be sure to double check your orderslip on the box to make sure you have everything. If you don’t, feel free to poke your head in the door and let us know what you are missing. Frozen meats and plants seem to be what gets left out the most often.
Also, when you pick up your order each week, be sure to leave the box. You can also leave the name tag on the box so we can re-use it the next time you order. Thank you all to adapting so quickly to the new system!

Thank you so much for supporting the Independence Farmers Market!

Abby
